Your Backyard: Where Family Magic Happens (Or Doesn’t)
The back of your home is the Mountain Star of your life — your support, your roots, your “who shows up when things get hard” zone.
It’s where family bonds are nourished… or quietly left to die like a forgotten houseplant.

DO THIS 3 tips
1. Keep it alive & green — Plants, grass, flowers.
Life energy here = family feels ALIVE.
A thriving backyard = people actually want to come home.
2. Add a gathering spot — A table, chairs, a little seating area.
Chi needs somewhere to sit down and stay a while, just like your relatives.
3. Light it up — Soft warm lighting in the evening activates the energy and signals: this is a welcoming space.
Bonus: no one trips over the dog.
❌ DON’T DO THIS
1. Don’t let it become a graveyard of broken stuff — Old bikes, dead appliances, forgotten BBQ grills from 2009… that’s stagnant chi and it’s basically telling your family: we gave up.
2. No sharp corners pointing at the house — Pointed structures, aggressive garden stakes, or broken fences aimed inward = poison arrows cutting into your family harmony. Nobody needs that drama.
3. Don’t leave it dark and locked up — A backyard nobody uses becomes a chi dead zone.
Dead zones in the family area = disconnection, distance, the “we don’t really talk anymore” vibe.
Your backyard is basically your family’s energetic living room — treat it like one!
